Combination Drill: This drill combines a mixture of all three volleyball hitting motions, digging, setting and spiking. Two verticle lines on horizontal- opposite corners are form where the persoin at the front of the line starts with the volleyball. one person on each side of the net is to stand in the middle and he/she is going to be ther "Setter." The person at the front of the line digs to the person in the middle, Setter. After the player has digged the ball to the setter, he/she runs to nets and jumps for a spike. The Setter sets the ball for a spike and after the ball is spiked the player who spiked the ball collects the ball and passes the ball to the player at the front of the line on the other side that he/she started.
Digging with arms that are stights and a strong follow through. Sets that a high and close to the net which are easy to spike. Spiking with accuarcy and power. It is not about how fast the spike is but where the ball lands. Focusing on technique for each from of hitting.
