This drill is set up as the ball is being brought down into the attacking end. It teaches movement onto and around the circle. WD starts with the ball. WA and C both make leads to the ball. Either can recieve but in this case the centre recieves the ball. WA then quickly cuts to the top of the circle for the next pass. They look in but shooters are not ready so then WA passes out as C makes a lead towards the pocket. WA then works onto the side of the circle into the pocket and recieve a pass back from the C. This time a shooter presents themselves and WA passes in. While C then takes the top of the circle quickly as a back up.
Teach them to land on the circle and look in before looking out. Pass off the circle and then take a new position on the circle. Make sure one is always top and one is always side (usually behind a shooter).

Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
A shooter who can hold a strong position under the post is worth more than one who runs all over the circle. Here is how to coach body shape, a legal hold and a well-timed release, and how feeders make the most of it.
