DESCRIPTION

In groups of 4 with ball; feeders, attacker and defender Feeders standing lateral to one another, Feeder 1 with ball, attacker is static (post), defence angles ball side F 1 drops ball for defender to race onto. Secures ball, and clean pass to F2 Defender recovers back to post as quick as possible, gets feet around the back of the post Post is static, but can change up body angle F2 lifts ball to the ‘uncontested’ space. Defender running feet right around to try for that lifted pass Switch around Repeat on the other side As above only this time as defender comes around the back of them, attacker moves straight line forward Defender is looking to get ahead to take ball (straight line, don’t cross into attacker’s space) Switch around Repeat on other side

Feet under body Eyes always on the ball Fast and running (not sidestepping) around the back of your attacking post Hip through to penetrate Always in balanced position Upward jump with hands in air
