Player 1 (WA) drives off either to the left or the right. Player 2 (WD) drives off the opposite direction from Player 1 (WA). Thrower passes to the person on their right. Other player changes direction and drives towards the player with the ball and recives. Once recieved, the player will then pass to the first person in the line (GS). First person in the line (GS) then passes back to the thrower to reset the drill. Both players carrying out drill will run back and join the end of the queue once they have made the pass. Progression: - Add in a defender. - Condition the drill to be strict on the 3s rule if not tough enough for them.
+ Players to keep thier heads up and be aware. + Players on balls of their feet for them to be prepared to drive out. + Player that drives out to the right needs to use their right foot and change direction and drive off with their left foot (Remembering to use their hips to help change their direction) + Range of passes should be used.

Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
A shooter who can hold a strong position under the post is worth more than one who runs all over the circle. Here is how to coach body shape, a legal hold and a well-timed release, and how feeders make the most of it.
