An idea to practise your sharp turns and changes when you are by yourself. I suggest 6 cones and have given 2 possible courses through the cones. Set yourself up your own course, defining not just the course but also speed of movement and whether you might change the movement types (sidetepping, back shuffle etc) and determine where the ball will be for the duration of that set (it can be an imaginery ball, idea is you should always have an eye on the ball!). Repeat each course at least 3 times - the first is a practise, the second you improve, the third you smash it!
Feet under your body, head up, and eyes to ball (or in peripheral vision) Use of arms for momentum and balance Plant outside foot, turning of head and hips as you change direction.

A ready-to-run Halloween session for High 5 and junior netball. Real drills in spooky costume, with a warm-up, a technical block, a decision-making game and a finish.
Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
