This is a specific sport skill practice for a shooter. It is designed to get them to drive in from different parts of the circle. There are 6 cones placed around the edge of the circle. The GS must start in the middle then drive out to one of the cones then drive back into the cirle recive a ball (From the GA)and passes it back to the GA. After going to every cone twice the GS and GA can swap. To make this drill harder you can includde a defender to mark the GS or GA.

Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
A shooter who can hold a strong position under the post is worth more than one who runs all over the circle. Here is how to coach body shape, a legal hold and a well-timed release, and how feeders make the most of it.
